What are cold pressed oils?
The oil is obtained through pressing fruit or seeds with the use of stainless steel presses. Although pressing produces heat through friction, the temperature must not rise above 50°C for any oil to be considered cold pressed.
Cold pressed oils retain all of fruit or seed flavor, aroma, and nutritional value.
Cold pressed oils are nutritionally very valuable, being reach in antioxidants, tocopherols and essential fatty acids (Omega 3- alpha-linolenic acid, Omega 6- Linoleic acid, Omega 9- Oleic acid), Linoleic acid is important for healthy hormone balance, skin, circulation, nerve function and immunity.
