Every year, the beginning of August is reserved for a unique Trumpet Festival in the town of Guca in Serbia. The first Trumpet Festival in this little town in western Serbia was held in 1961. For the past 47 years, the festival has made Guca appear on all tourist maps across our planet. A growing number of tourists from all over the world have been visiting Guca every year. Here they spend unforgettable days, dancing and singing all day long. Guca does not make a difference between nations or religions, different skin colors or beliefs. All that Guca recognizes is dancing and joy. People always dance together in the streets, in cafes and restaurants, in the sun and in the rain. The competition involves brass orchestras from many countries, so the repertoire of music that is performed is miscellaneous. Guca is something that should not be missed in Serbia.
